Overview

Course duration: 1 day There are inevitably people who will be looking for new challenges and opportunities, and this workshop is designed to help them during what can be a difficult and challenging time.

Having a safe and supportive space to properly consider options within a well-planned workshop structure has proven to be immensely beneficial for the many people that have been through this process with our facilitators. The workshops outlined below will safely encourage honest and open discussion, and will be tailored to the specific needs of the participants. All attendees will have the opportunity to be heard and to consider their next steps so they can be prepared for the future.

The titles and objectives we have included are suggested only with a view to further discussion, and we would be happy to share details of workshop content and exercises. We are of course able to amend as required to suit specific requirements and objectives.

Our lead facilitator has a background in the recruitment industry and we are able to share his details and experience if requested.  

Workshop objectives 

By the end of the workshop, delegates will have:

• Examined their current CV, identified key skillsets and preferred behaviours, and rated their initial confidence level.
• Learnt and discussed how recruitment is currently usually conducted and put themselves in the ‘recruiter’s shoes’.
• Used various CV writing techniques that can be used to produce a document specifically tailored to suit roles that delegates are attracted to.
• Conducted a practice job search and found roles that they can dissect and match their personal experience to.
• Discussed interview techniques that can be applied in face-to-face and virtual interview situations.
