Overview
Public speaking/ presentations are not easy – no one can do them well without some preparatory work. This workshop offers techniques and guidance to help you to address common problems in a practical and constructive way, in a supportive environment, and to develop a real presentation that you can use with confidence.

- Understanding your own difficulties in giving presentations and how to overcome them
- Managing nerves, voice and body language
- Using techniques for improving and enlivening a presentation
- How to ensure good preparation, notes and rehearsal
- Handling difficult questions and audience members
- Constructive feedback for use in future presentations
- Have created and delivered a presentation that you can use in the course of your work
Course Format
This workshop is designed to give participants the opportunity to develop a presentation or improve a presentation that has already been prepared. Therefore, delegates should bring their notes and if relevant, a PowerPoint presentation on laptop or removable storage device. This workshop is restricted to six participants in order to give full and individual support and attention to all delegates.
