Learning 2XL are fortunate enough to have trainers who have themselves had many years experience of working within the Public Sector. We therefore fully understand that many of the challenges faced are different to those of the Private Sector, and we have designed our public sector training and coaching courses and programmes with these specific needs in mind.

Martyn Spendlove Assoc CIPD

Martyn has an impressive background of designing and delivering training programmes for a wide variety of organisations 

Online training is a particular specialism and he is an author of many Equality and Diversity, Human Rights and Modern Slavery online modules. 

Martyn holds a Certficate in Recruitment Practice (CertRP) which was awarded by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation. 

He is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and TAP Learning in L&D Practice and Consulting. Martyn is also accredited by the Chartered Management Institute, and holds certificates with the Academy of Executive Coaching and Kotter International (Change Management). 

Accredited as an Insights Discovery Practitioner, he is also a Clarity 4D business partner. 

Martyn is a a lively and engaging character and he designs and delivers learning with creativity and energy, whilst aligning closely to every learner's needs with a great balance of challenge and support.

 

Amanda Beech (BA CMIPD)

Amanda is a highly experienced trainer who began her career as a teacher before holding various training management positions, including within the public sector, for many years.

She has designed and delivered successful training programmes for organisations such as Oxfordshire County Council, Dorset County Council, Slough Borough Council and Winchester City Council with her approach always being to challenge individuals, teams or organisations to discover their potential by offering new experiences and ideas.

Amanda has a wonderful calm and understanding approach to training and coaching and relates to delegates with warmth and empathy.

She was the author of a publication for the Improvement and Development Agency on 'Equality of Access to Services'. This toolkit for local government was published and she also co-authored a book on the 'Balanced Scorecard.'

Jo Wilding (BSC FCMIPD)

Jo has extensive experience of designing and delivering learning and development interventions in the Public Sector having previously worked in local government herself.

Previous clients include Oxfordshire County Council, Winchester City Council, Bournemouth Borough Council, Borough of Poole, Slough Borough Council and Dorset County Council.

Holding a post-graduate diploma in Strategic Human Resources Management, and being a fellow of the CIPD means Jo is well qualified,and she has a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by all Public Sector organisations in the modern era.

Her aim is always have delegates leaving a course feeling confident about how they will make future workplace improvements, and her considered and supportive manner will inspire delegates and assist them in doing so.
